Huck Colour and Weave Zephyr Scarves
First time warping with Zephyr yarn
A while back I found a lovely scarf on Jane Stafford Textiles and I just had to order the kit.
Huck Colour and Weave Zephyr Scarves – Dusty Roses and last Saturday I finally got to it!
I was a tad afraid of using Zephyr (Wool/Silk mix) for the warp, first time using wool in the warp and worried about breaking the warp threads.
I got the warp wound, the loom dressed and started the weave! There were no need to worry at all. The weave went extremely smooth and the scarves were ready in no time at all!
Straight off the loom this is how they looked!
And after the magic of wet finishing this is how they turned out!
