Over the years I have also been dabbling around with some crocheting and lately also knitting.

A couple of years back I came across pictures of Heidi Bears Happypotamus The Happy Hippo and it was such a wonderful creation that I had to make one for myself!
I bought the pattern, ordered some yarn and tried to remember how to crochet. As I quickly found out, I did not remember much at all!
Thankfully, everything can be learnt online and I found tutorials on google/youtube showing me how to get started.

It wasn’t easy and I did not choose a pattern for a complete beginner, but I got through it and the Hippo got a whole family in the end!
